Some customers ask us if we think they should consider purchasing used appliances? While there are times when replacing an appliance is the best decision, some thought should be given as to when this is the case. Has your appliance ever been repaired before? How old is your appliance? Do you like it? Remember that used appliances also have a history. In many cases you are better off repairing your appliance then buying a used one. In most cases you have cared better for your appliance then the original owner cared for the used one. Which means after you spend the money to buy the used one, it very well could break down and then you're back to square one. My recommendation, if you want to replace your appliance, consider first buying a new one that will have a full warranty. If that is not feasible, then repair your original appliance and view used appliances as a last resort. |
